Effect:
Xavier can switch between nightvision, infared, and sensor.
The sensor allows him to pick up on large concentrations of mana. (think of it as a Scouter from DBZ i guess XD)
The infared and nightvision allow him to see in most types of terrain.
(This is his left eye ONLY)

Note: His left eye is robotic so that is why it only works through that eye.

The sensor only picks up on the traces of mana? Or individuals who have it as well?

So long as the individual is not using a paid for effect that does indeed hide them. Perfect example, my Shade used to use Vanish at 30MP. Naturally, the spell itself and costing more would still keep such an individual hidden from this effect. Any spell/enchantment/etc at such an example would work against this.
