Personality
Birdy is a very young chocobo. She is known to follow Zephinie around, due to her intrest in his music. She is a song chocobo, as dwarf chocobo are very skilled at making distinctive cherping like sounds, perfect for singing. This of course, was why she took intrest into the music. She doesn't have much of a personality, all she does is usually follow Zephinie around aimlessly. She takes intrest in music, more then just Zephinies. She is very intrested if she hears a tune. Though she really only has one friend, Zephinie, she really dislikes him to be harmed. She cannot fight well, but she shows a worry and caring side to Zephinie.
Fighting Style
Birdy is not very skilled at fighting, being very small. If it comes to a point in time when she may be of some assistance, she may use her small beak or talons to inflict small cuts on the target. Being a dwarf chocobo, she is very skilled and fast at flying. Overall, she is not a big gain on a battlefield. But Zephinie has found one special ability of hers.
Sing Along
Birdy chirps to a memorized tune played by Zephinie, this doubles the range of the music being heard. From example, ten meters, to twenty. This effect cannot be used if the tune is random or improvised.
Description
Birdy has the build similar to a regular chocobo, but due to her being a dwarf chocobo, she is much smaller. Dwarf chocobo only grow to a maximum height of around one and a half feet, even though when they hatch they are almost as big as regular chocobo hatchlings. The fact that they stay almost the size of a hatchling for the rest of there lives, they almost might be called permanet hatchlings. But, other then that, Birdy is basically you everyday chocobo. She has yellow feathers, long legs. Although, she does seem to have rather large eyes.
History
When Zephinie was a very young child learning to play the guitar, a young dwarf chocobo had taken interest into his music. She had seemed to always be around whenever he was playing a tune, so he had decided to give her a name. Now, being a very young child, he wasn't quite original with names... Which is how we come to how she recieves the name of "Birdy". Over years of growth, the chocobo and the boy became closer. Birdy would follow Zephinie around, weather or not he had music set out to play.
Growing bonds together put them at a pet and master relationship... But it really wasn't that kind of bond. The two were not pet or master, they were friends. They helped one another if they could at all, and kept each other company. Birdy couldn't really be called Zephinies pet, just more of a friend staying with him.
