Note: This is the final of the three Dresspheres that Yuna is able to equip in her current Garment Grid. Again, I am seeking to stay as close to Canon as possible with these, but I am still guessing on much of it. I did not include Delay Attack or Delay Buster out of concerns about how they would work in RP.

Name: Warrior Dressphere

AP Cost: 10 AP for initial transformation

Requirements: A Garment Grid with the Dressphere inserted into one of the sockets. Activation of the Dressphere through the Garment Grid.

Description: A swirling energy surrounds Yuna and transforms her clothing into an intricate set of leather armor designed for protection as much as for appearance. In her hand the Garment Grid forms a blade inspired by (and practically identical to) Tidus' Brotherhood as a symbol of their deep connection. In her hands, though, the Water association is only a matter of choice. Once the transformation is complete, Yuna poses slightly before falling into a stance reminiscent, again, of Tidus, and getting down to business.

Good qualities: High Strength, Defense, Magic Defense, moderate Evasion and Agility. Warrior is an excellent Dressphere for damage outlay on a melee scale while being somewhat fast as well. It is the foundational melee-dominant Dressphere with abilities that call to mind some of those of the Mystic Knight. It allows for several Elemental strikes as well as various disability Status inflictions alongside some beneficial Status benefits.

Phase One (Unlocked on transformation)
Flametongue (Fire)
Ice Brand (Ice)
Thunder Blade (Lightning)
Liquid Steel (Water)
- Elemental strikes cause physical damage (severity dependent on Strength, not Magic) attuned to one of the four dominant Elements of Spira. Each carries a 3 post cooldown.

Phase Two (Unlocked with an additional 10 AP above the cost of transformation. Also unlocks Phase One.)
Power Break – Strength
Armor Break – Defense
Magic Break – Magic
Mental Break – Magic Defense
- Each Break attack does physical damage as well as lowers the associated stat of the target by 20%. Subsequent strikes do not stack. Each carries a 5 post cooldown.

Phase Three (Unlocked with an additional 20 AP above the cost of transformation. Also unlocks Phases One and Two.)
Demi Sword (Gravity) – Elemental strike causes physical damage of the Gravity Element. Carries a 3 post cooldown
Note: This is the Elemental notation for this ability in Canon. I am willing to adjust if there is a suggestion.

Phase Four (Unlocked with an additional 30 AP above the cost of transformation. Also unlocks Phases One, Two, and Three.)
Excalibur (Holy) – Elemental strike causes physical damage of the Light/Holy Element. Carries a 3 post cooldown.

Phase Five (Unlocked with an additional 40 AP above the cost of transformation. Also unlocks Phases One, Two, Three, and Four.)
Assault – Casts Berserk, Shell, Haste, and Protect on the Party. Effect lasts 4 posts. Carries a 7 post cooldown.

Note on Elemental Strikes: Changing the Elemental usage incurs a 10 AP cost when different Elemental Strikes are used during the course of a single thread. Using the same Elemental Strike repeatedly (after the cooldown) does not incur the cost and the cost is per switch. If Flametongue is used first, then Flametongue may continue to be used, but if Ice Brand is then used, 10 AP must be spent.

Bad qualities: Low Magic, low Magic Defense. This form is designed around close quarters combat and as such is not the best for dealing with flying or otherwise hard to reach opponents. She's not quite as fast in Warrior as she is in Gunner and the only magic that is inherent to the Form are the various weapon strikes which are physical damage, not magical. Any other magic is dependent on her base Form of Summoner and the Garment Grid itself.

All of the spells will have to go I'm afraid, you will have to get those approved separetly...I can deal with the gun ones, but with the sword it's a little much...

I just realized this was a Form Template...

This complicates things...

All I need from you since its a permenant type transformation, is an Ap cost for each level of elemental-type branding you do to your weapon....so when you change from FIRE blade, to like an ICE blade, it will cost you...

actually, from the way it worked in game, the elemental strikes are one use strikes. Otherwise it's normal physical damage as would be appropriate.

Like she charges up Flametongue and attacks, if the strike hits, then it's Fire Elemental Physical damage and she has to wait another three posts before she can use it again.

It's not sheathing the blade permanently in the Element until she decides to change Elements.

If that helps at all.

A permanent Elemental sheathing, yeah, that'd need some sort of an extra cost.

To be honest, I never used the Elemental Strikes much in game with Warrior. When I melee, I tend to melee honest. Quicker refresh on actions that way.

Well, if I'm understanding what each of you are saying, Morph is saying when you "change" from one element to another, not an AP cost for each time Yuna would strike with the same element, even after a 3 post cool down.

If you were in a battle with more than one opponent, both may very well have different weaknesses. If you would choose the fire blade to attack one, then need ice blade for the other (after the cool down), It would reguire AP cost for each elemental blade you're using/switching to.

Hmm . . .

So if I understand this, then starting with Firetongue means that continuing to use Firetongue would not incur an extra AP cost, but following up with Ice Brand would . . .

I think I can actually live with that.

Lemme add a notation in regarding that. Would 10 AP per Elemental Shift be sufficient?

Since you have "Low Magic" listed as a Bad Quality with this form, then I would think 10AP would be sufficient, rather than asking for more which (IMO) would only add more of a drawback to the form's abilities. Also, having to wait 3 posts to switch if you need to can be a pain -.-

I also forgot to ask a question regarding Phase Two. By how much are the target's stats lowered with either on the list?

Considering there's no solid indication in the game of what kind of lowering is involved . . .

My best guess is by no more than 20% to the Ability referenced. I do not know that there's a duration limitation on it, but I also do not believe that subsequent strikes stack for greater effectiveness. If a duration is needed, then possibly 3 or 4 posts, so that there's at least a remote chance of renewing the effect.

Since an additional 10AP is required for the second phase, 20% sounds reasonable to me.

And I agree that subsequesnt strikes will not stack.

As for post duration, I THINK such effects lasted until the end of a battle, unless the opponent inflicted used a spell/item to relieve them of it? >.> I won't say to add one. I just asked in case it was something you may have forgotten to cover.

So just edit the 20% to the Phase Two effects.

Just a reminder, when Morpheus returns, if he sees something I missed, he may request that you edit something. I'mma just tryin' to keep the flow going XD
