Name: Ulvhedin
Age: 32
Race: Hume
Gender: Male
Home World: Vana 'Diel
Elemental usage: Darkness, Fire
Class: Dark Knight
Sub Class: Viking
Weapons: A cursed sword, Tyrfing that once the sword is drawn, can't be sheathed until a man has been killed by it.
Fighting Style: Up close and personal for the most part.
Good Qualities: He is well above average when it comes to dark magic, due to how he in his youth wanted to get a hold of the most powerful black arts book ever created, namely Raudskinna. The battle for that book sent him far over the borders between the living and the dead, marking him for life and making sure he got so damaged, magically, that he refuses to actually have any relationship with any woman. He will also go through Hell and back to help or protect Crucent, as she is the only person he trusts.
Bad Qualities: He sucks at having a social life, preferring to be alone or with Cru.
He also is utterly head over heels in love with her, but refuses to act on it for her safety. As far as battles goes, he does his best to avoid them alltogether as that would force him to use his magic, wich he avoids at all costs due to the damage it does to his soul. That leaves him with his sword, wich he really doesn't like using either since its cursed. When he really has to though, he'll fight pretty well with it.
Affinities: in this order Chaotic, neutral, lawful.
Appearance: He is a tall man of 7 feet, even taller than Cru. He is very well toned with muscles. His hair is short and black as the wings of a raven, and he has brown eyes that turn to gold whenever he gets angry. On the left side of his chest he has a tattoo of a lion.
History: Born to arguably the most powerful shamans that ever lived in his homeland, Ulvhedin always knew he would be a mighty shaman himself some day. Learning the arts and crafts from both his parents from an early age, he soon learned of the most powerful book in all of Dark magic, called Raudskinna. At first his curiosity for the book was no big thing, but by the time he was 17, it had become a burningly fanatic obsession to get it and use it to become the most powerful shaman that ever lived. It was also about this time he and Crucent first met, becoming friends despite their very big differences in choise of lifestyles, and, ending up having a ... thing. (not a relationship, as his "careerchoise" made it hopeless, but well, the closest thing to it.)
In order to get the book, that had been buried under a churchfloor with its owner, who also was no lightweight in dark magic, he had to fight the undead man for a full 12 hours, sundown til sunrise, with only magic. By the time sunrise was rapidly approaching again, he was so worn out and drained from the battle, he was for all intents and purposes, dying. The only reason he still lives, is that Crucent had heard of this fight, and ran to the church as fast as she could, and rang the churchbells like mad when she saw what had happened to her friend. This and the sun rising caused the undead to disappear and never return, but he took the book with him.
For months Crucent kept watch over Ulvhedin as he regained his strenght and sanity until he finally became as well as he can ever hope to be. For this support, he will never betray or leave her. For now he mostly uses his immense powers to do good in atonement for his soul.
