Code Name: Leviathan's Tenth.
Real name: Leon.
Age: 16.
Race: : Physically he is Half Human and Half Shadow (Explanation on history), but he declares himself to be completely human at soul. (Officially called Hybrid).
Gender: Male.
Home World: Born in Earth. Lives in the World of Balance.
Elemental usage:
Light
Darkness
Class: Dark Knight.
Sub-Class: Paladin.
Weapons: Though he is not really skilled at using any kind of weapons, he has some knowledge on the usage of two handed swords, one handed swords and dual wielding of swords. He also has mastered somehow the control of one handed machine guns, but he rarely uses them for anything more than scaring his enemy or the person he is fighting against.
Fighting style: He combines sword movement with spells made by his soul energy, which would be the equivalent in his body for "magic". As said above, he rarely uses his machine gun for fighting, but if he does then he'll try to stay as far away as possible from his objective, something that causes his aim to fail several times.
Good Qualities: Though his body is that of a human, he has the ability of using the energy that comes from the soul. This allows him to perform several abilities that could be considered magic. When he releases his soul energy in battle, his physical strength and speed, which are usually on the level of a 15-16 years old man, grow to the point of being considered above average. His soul energy enables him to be more aware of his environment, and to feel any kind of living being that is around the area. Yet this ability is most times turned off, as it is quite bothersome to be aware of every single thing every single person does around him. The energy makes his cells to recover faster than humans, so he can resist more blows and survive attacks that could be deadly for most. It also enables mental communication between Hybrids. Other abilities will be added to "spells" or "enchantments".
He still has something that makes him unique, even in his own kind, but to explain it I must go through a large description.
Each living thing has soul energy inside them, but only those known as Shadows know how to use it at will. In any other creature, including humans, the soul energy is restricted to move unwillingly only inside the body. The soul energy, in the case of humans, is represented by a white flame, and in Shadow's case, it is by a black flame. A Hybrid, that is a mixture of both human and Shadow, good and evil, uses a dark flame: Not entirely black, but not bright either.
White flames can only do passive spells, black flames can only do hostile spells, and dark flames can do a little from both. Yet Tenth can freely use the three flames that reside within his body without restriction, making him more efficient than other Hybrids.
Bad Qualities: Even when being skilled at fighting thanks to his soul energy, his physical and magical defense don't increase as much as the other "stats", so to speak, so he is quite vulnerable to any kind of attack (even if he can regenerate, he'll be easily placed out of action of he receives enough damage). He rarely fights and often decides to retreat, the two most prominent reasons being:
1.- He dislikes fighting without a reason.
2.- He has orders. He can freely fight against Shadows and Dark Ones (Again, see story for more information), but he must ask his superior of he ever needs to fight any other being. Humans is the only race that he is not allowed to hurt, at least not with the usage of his soul energy, something that would prove really disadvantageous in case of fighting a strong human foe.
Affinities: Neutral Good.
Appearance: He is a young man, has the average size for a person of his age, his skin is fair and clear and has wood-brown eyes and short blond hair. He likes to wear clothing with black and red as the primary colors, and when he has nothing else to put on himself, he wears his school uniform, that consist on a red jacket, a black shirt and gray pants. He tends to put on necklaces with gothic-like forms, yet most times he could be easily mistaken by a normal civilian.
History: Leon (Tenth) had a very common life. He was born on a normal family, with normal economical status, with normal relationships and with the normal amount of love a parent would give to his son. He had a twin sister (unnamed), and soon another little brother and little sister came to their life. Though he had a good childhood, it was not without pain. Thanks to his inability to express feelings (described above), he was often bullied at school. He managed to stand it for the most part, as he had his sister supporting him. But one simple day, that person simply vanished out of the thin air. Though his family and the police searched for her for a whole year, not a trace was found, and she was presumed to be dead.
That left Leon with a hole on his heart. His suffering was enough to make him think about killing himself at one point. Yet, when he was about to do so, from the top of a building, a blond haired man stopped him. He was young, but his face showed true care about Leon, a person he barely knew. They talked for a while, and this man convinced him to stay alive, telling him about the things that "are worth living for". Leon started to believe in the words of this man, and did all what he could to change the bad things of his life.
Many years later, at the age of 15, he was leading a normal life again. Though his parents separated thanks to the issue with his sister, he was sure everything would be back to normal, sooner or later. While walking back from school, at the second week since school started, his life changed again.
He found himself facing a white beast, with skin that looked like metal, big claws, a round head, two holes instead of eyes and a thin line replacing its mouth. He was amazed at first, and then scared to death when this creature suddenly attacked him. Sure, he knew how to defend himself. Sure, he had physical strength. But he doubted that any of that would work against a creature like that. It was not long before he found himself against the wall.
But, as he was about to receive a killing blow from the claws of this beast, he suddenly heard a gunshot. A bullet had made a hole on the creature's neck, making it scream thanks to the pain, and giving Leon the opportunity of escaping. He went to the person that had shot the beast: A blond haired man, around 30 years old, that later introduced himself as Third.
Third easily defeated the beast by placing many bullets around its body, but when Leon asked what was going on, he simply answered that he too was confused: That Leon shouldn't have been involved in something like this, and that he was not sure of what to do. Before Third could call somebody to consult, a feminine voice called out for them: A young girl standing on top of a house, shouting that there were two others. Third immediately noticed two similar creatures coming from the two opposite sides of the street. Some moments later, they were already attacking.
Third and the mysterious girl fought and easily defeated these creatures, each one of then with a gun on their hands, but they still weren't able to answer Leon's questions. On top of that, the girl was not even nice to him, making questions that he could not answer. Before the situation could take a step forward, the creature that the girl had seemingly killed woke up from an state of unconsciousness and attacked Leon. Neither of the warriors managed to react in time, and the young man was stabbed with three of the giant sized claws. Before falling unconscious, he overheard the girl and Third talking about a way to save him.
He woke up exactly one day later. He was in a hospital, and pretty confused about what happened. It didn't pass much time before Third appeared before him again: He seemed eager to explain him everything.
What attacked him were creatures called Shadows. They feed on human souls, are very agile, strong, and know how to use the energy from their souls, something that humans can't do thanks to their limits. They only think about killing, and they enjoy killing, so their souls are purely dark. Third was from an organization called Light, whose job was to kill Shadows and prevent them from hurting humans.
Though Leon couldn't believe a story like that at first, he was convinced when Third explained him that members from Light were those that had their souls fused with that of a Shadow. Shadows release their energy on the body of the human they attack, poisoning him from the inside and killing him, also making the absorption of the soul easier. Yet, if the energy from the Shadows is controlled, the human soul would recognize it as something familiar and would absorb it, transforming it into a mixture of man and beast. A Hybrid.
That was what happened to Leon: He saw clear evidence on his body, like the regeneration of his wounds. He didn't take the situation very well, feeling really angered on the inside. Things got much more complicated when Third asked him to join Light. Third left soon and Leon was left with the doubt: Should he? His life was going to be different from there on, but he didn't want to transform what little of his normal life was left.

The following days after leaving the hospital, he passed most of his time thinking about it. During that time, he met again with the girl that was also part of Light. Her codename was Ninth, but her friends usually called her Navi. He discovered that her personality was really weird, being annoyed most part of the time, not hearing the opinions of others and being easily angered by things that shouldn't be bad. And to add something else, she was really beautiful, which made that mixture something that Leon couldn't like too much. Yet he also learnt that she was a better person from the inside, but couldn't express herself. Or better said, she didn't want to express herself, a similar situation to his. She was also the one that put him the codename of "Tenth", even before he joined Light.
He also learnt about the existence of the Dark Ones, Hybrids that choose to be evil and that worked alongside Shadows to hurt people. They were far more dangerous than Shadows, and he was more impressed when he knew that one of them was after him. As Hybrids were not really usual, both sides would do anything that's possible to even get one member.
After many events, he finally decided to join Light and learn more about this conflict between then and Shadows. He was placed in the Leviathan Division, alongside Third and Navi, in charge of protecting their own country. He was the tenth member of that Division, thus giving him the title of "Tenth". After only one year, he was already used to life in this organization.
(((NOTES!!!!!: Where the ______________________________ line begins, is where I stop being descriptive about the story and only give the most important facts for this forum. I'll continue writing the story on more detail, but as I would take hours to do so, I think this should work for now.)))
Pictures: None.
Weapons:Name: Hybrid Soul.
Type: Sword.
Element: None.
Effect: This sword is created by the soul energy of the user, so it has this energy flowing around its entire body. Yet this is only harmful to Shadows, so other beings that are not those would not suffer any other damage when hit by this weapon. It is big but fast, and it is strong enough to cut through metal without being broken itself. It's user can summon it in his hands, which somehow means that only Tenth can use it, as it is his own soul energy the element that forms the weapon.
Long/Short range: Short Range.
Description: The sword is pretty simple, in fact. It's size is about 1 and a half meters long. The handle is big enough for the user to put his two hands on it. It has a one sided blade, so one of them can do mortal damage, while the other only hits hard. The left side of the sword is painted white, the right side black, and the middle part grey. Finally, there is a hole at the end of the blade, that serves of no real porpuse.
History: Hybrids like Tenth have the ability to materialize certain objects by the usage of their soul energy. Yet this is no easy task, as one has to put a lot of concentration and to memorize the exact form, all the curves and all the lines of said object. But when that hard task is done, then it'll be easy for the Hybrid to materialize this object for the rest of their life.
Though there is a certain limit. While more soul energy the Hybrid can control, more is the amount of objects he/she can create.
And most of them decide to make weapons out of this ability. As this was Tenth's first weapon, he had a hard time, mostly because he was new in all this thing of being half Shadow and half Human. Yet, after acomplishing this task, he was able to finally defend himself with a weapon that felt like a part of his own body.
Picture: None.
((I'm going to REALLY upgrade this thing later, as it is one of Tenth's only two weapons))
Name: One-Handed P90 (Soul ver.)
Type: Submachine Gun.
Element: None.
Effect: The normal P90 is an easy-to-handle weapon, with excelent penetrative power and low recoil, and it is usually used as a close range offensive submachine gun. Tenth's modified P90 has all of these features and some that he himself included. The size and weight of the weapon were minimized and the back handle taken out, so it could be easily used as a one-handed weapon, with more freedom of movement (though this increases the recoil a little). This weapon is made of Tenth's soul energy, meaning that he can summon it at any time he wants, yet it doesn't means its an unblockable weapon. Though it doesn't have good accuracy, the shooting speed is above average (10% more). Finally, it doesn't have to be reloaded by using bullets, but using soul energy instead of it. The normal cartdrige of a P90 has a limit of 50 bullets, so each time Tenth shoots 50 bullets, he must place his hand on the back of the gun and concentrate to regenerate them.
Long/Short range: Long Range.
Description: Picture.
History: It was nothing special. When Tenth got enough control over his soul energy to finally be able to materialize a second object, he decided for this weapon. This was a much harder work than the sword, as he had to memorize each part of the weapon. And not only the external parts, but everything that was inside too. He spent many days locked in a room, looking at the dismantled weapon, trying to use different tricks in order to burn them into his mind. After some months, he was finally able to do it. When his companions asked him why did he chose such a complex weapon, he answered: "I've always liked this weapon since I saw it in Metal Gear Solid." End of the story.
Picture:
First, imagine it in black. The size is a little lower than an average P90, so it can be used by only one hand. Also, it's back handle has been erased, and the weight dramatically decreased.
Spells/Skills:None for now.
