Good Qualities: Jayda is all heart and has the sweetest disposition. She keeps the spirits up of those around her during the most strenuous and depressing of times. Her deep compassion for others also leads her to be a bit naive in her judgment of character because she wants to like everyone right off the bat. She’s soft spoken and can manage to find the silver lining in the most gravest of situations.
She’s an excellent shot at both close and long range
Bad Qualities: Jayda can’t handle confrontations if they’re her own. She can stand up for a friend with all the courage in the world, but if it’s someone angry with her, she tends to shy away and clam up. This mostly stems from her twin brother always being there to defend her himself, so Jayda never had to. She can also tend to be a little clueless. It simply adds to her charm though. Also, Jayda can get over getting angry at someone pretty easily. But when someone actually hurts her feelings, she does hold a grudge on that for quite sometime.
Jayda doesn’t do well at all with close combat nor defending herself.
Affinities: Good/Lawful (this poses a problem when ever Shade or Brix justify an action they have to take that goes against Jayda’s lawful morals)
Appearance: Jayda has very long auburn hair with slight blond highlights. She wears it in a pig-tail style on the sides and the rest hangs loose down her back with a leather tie at the end. She has quite a thin build which she’s a bit self conscious about because she was teased often that she looked like a “rod” and she still thinks she does. She wears a loose fitting tank top with spaghetti straps that’s a shimmery gold color. Her pants are dark tan that fit snug around the waist and thighs, but hangs loose and widens down to the hem. The sides of the pants (from the knee down) are split open at the sides and held together by several small gold chains. She also wears a red sleeveless vest that’s cropped short at the top, but trails longer going down her back to the ground. Gun holsters at her waist and the rifle harness crisscrossed across her chest compliment her outfit.
History: As can be seen, Jayda took after being the sharp shooter her father was, but not the flirtatious flare. Growing up was a bit simpler for her having her brother, Vex, at her side for support. There’s a bond between her and her twin which is common, yet unique as well. Like some twins claim, Jayda and Vex can feel each other’s emotions. If one is upset, anxious, or excited, the other feels it. The unique aspect of this bond though, is that they’ve learned to find each other by the use of this bond. Not at great distances, but they hope to achieve that someday.
Growing up with the others was also an emotional help to Jayda. Sure enough she joined the SeeD ranks with the rest of them and took on the extra curricular activities as her mother, Selphie did, since Jayda strives for anything to make life brighter for everyone. She has yet to get Shade to come to one of her dances that she puts together at the Garden though.
Living through the catastrophe of Balamb and losing her parents, Jayda wants nothing more than a simple, peaceful life with no threat over her home world and loved ones again. Just the way it was when she was a child. She doesn‘t expect the same miracle as Brix does. Just making the memory of her parents proud means the world to Jayda and to risk her life, even to the death, to make her home safe again is what she will do.
For future reference, whenever her brother Vex is reunited with the group, he would be nothing more than an NPC, if ever.
