| Name: Composition 1 :: Hummingbird
Description & Effect: Creates 10 birds out of clay. These are animated and fly at the enemy. These have sharp beaks, but that isn't what they are for. These will explode when positioned close enough to the enemy. The explosion will take up 3 feet in diameter and can chain with other C1 figures.
AP/MP Cost: 30
Class: Offensive
Element: Earth (Diffused by Lightning though)
Range: Long
Effect: Each one of these deals a quarter of tier one damage. A chain, will double the range of the explosion (no bigger than 50 feet), and put together the damages. (1=.25:2=.5:3=.75)
Duration: Once animated, they last 2 posts, though they can last forever so long as they aren't animated, but they can't explode that way.

| Okay, so a spell of clay animals that can take the shape of any animal, and eventually become the realistic size of that animal, (( say 20 dinosaurs ))
With random ranges depending on all 20 various creature forms
Chain explosions that ALSO consist of random ranges.... but ALL 20 must be hit to deactivate the spell
2 post duration
for 20/30MP
Is that correct? | |

| Alright, I made it so that the creatures cannot naturally be bigger than an adult rat.
Not random range, it depends on the design really. Spiders cannot really travel too far, grasshopper can jump a good distance, and birds can fly circles around people.
1 explosion, 3 feet, 2 chain, 6 feet, 3 chain, 12 feet, 4 chain, 24 feet.
All 20 must be hit to completely de-activate, chains only occur when an explosion hits another figure. The less there are, the less effective it can be.
The rest is about right.

| Spells are judged by strength, range, and area of effect.
Aslo, each one is a quarter of a Tier 1 spell. So if all 20 would explode in a chain, that totals up to beyond a Tier 4
You have so many multiples listed here, that I'm afraid 20 to 30 MP isn't going to cover all this

| I simplified it, and made it so its max range is 50 feet (as if it continued to double after 14 the result would be over 10K and the total range would be in the millions or so.)
I also made it so that if all 20 hit somehow, it would only 5 times tier 1 damage. (which if my math is correct only lands in between tier 2 and 3 damage if they ALL hit/chain)
Is that good? | |

| if your reaching for 3 damage, thats at least 60MP alone.
And like I stated before, we also judge by the range someone wants, and you want them all available at your choosing depending on the situation. Thats a huge advantage. The other big advantage you're giving this, is that someone has to strike ALL 20 to deactivate this thing, which you stated yet another advantage, can ONLY be done by lightning.
All those factors also come into play with MP cost.
You're only paying for the Tier strength of a Teir 1 or Tier 2 so far at 20 to 30MP

| I fixed it. High Tier 1 damage is maximum explosion damage, and the range still maxes out at a chain of 6. | |

| *takes over*
One cost.
And, if one projectile is Tier 1? 4 Projectiles to a casting.
Also, answer me this, and do so carefuly. ...Are they smart?
Will they avoid obstacles, or shields? Will they follow an enemy down a curvy hallway? That sort of thing.

| Subject: Re: C1:Hummingbird October 23rd 2010, 11:18 pm | |
| Alright, one cost...
25% of Tier one gives me a maximum of 12... I took 10.
They are smart, ONLY IF Kiyuki can see the enemy as they chase them. Otherwise, they will continue in the last direction he saw the enemy run. So to a degree, these will dodge shields and obstacles or through that curvy hallway, if Kiyuki can see the enemy and have them change their direction as such.

| ...Um, no.
If 1 is 25% of Tier 1, you get 4 for every 10 MP. ...Wait. ...No, you can do 12.
So... Fenik can make them change paths.
...How many times can they do this? And how long can they fly before detonating?

| Subject: Re: C1:Hummingbird October 23rd 2010, 11:52 pm | |
| They can change paths a many times as Kiyuki can detect the obstacle at hand. But they only get 2 posts of flight before they explode automatically. | |

| ...Hmmm...
...I don't LIKE it. But, I can't find fault with it, either.
Approved, I guess, as long as they can only path change if Fenik can see them...
