Blitzball no Jutsu!!!

Name: Great Blitzball Sphere of Playing Blitzball and Swimming and Junk

Description & Effect: Kiyuki gathers a huge source of water together into a giant sphere where people can swim around inside. On either side is net, made of earth element magic, and in the middle is a scoreboard, which will only function if the situation calls for it, otherwise it will constantly read 0:0. A blitzball is required to play though. This cannot be moved or used for combat purposes in any way. It requires that a Blitzball Sphere be needed.

AP/MP Cost: 100 MP

Class: Supplementary

Element: Water, Earth... umm... Blitzball?

Range: N/A (I don't really know)

Effect: Creates a fully functional, self hovering Blitzball Sphere, with nets, a working scoreboard and everything. It will maintain itself as long as it is needed.

Duration: N/A

explain to me the purpose of this?

To be a spell in case the need arises? Play blitzball outside of the blitzball playing area.

But you can simply RP that.... that's why I'm not understanding the concept of you wasting a spell slot and an extreme amount of MP/AP for something you can creatively write into a situation.

Unless this spell is supposed to have some sort of helpful/defensive/offensive effect that I'm totally missing here?

Well, I suppose with all that water it would completely nullify all fire magic that touches it. :/

Look, an entire stadium of water is not going to fly as a spell. That's just beyond massive. That and the fact you'd be drowning everyone except for Tidus and 100MP wouldn't even come CLOSE to covering this amount of water at that magnitude.
