Well... its official... I am depressed...

My favorite Naruto RP forum was recently hacked and obliterated. Becoming... well...

Anyhow aside from this I feel really bad right now because all of the hard work I put in to have a name for myself there... and it went away in about 8 sorrow-filled hours of trying hopelessly to stop the hacker but to no avail... So sadly, one of the greatest Naruto RPs of my life is gone forever...

You are mistaken, that site wasn't hacked. Forumotion has no exploits for a "hacker" to get in. The only way someone can do that to a site is if they have the password to an administrative account. Instead of pointing fingers at a normal regular user, I'd be looking to the management my friend. No matter how bad I piss somebody off here, I guarantee nobody will ever know my password on this forum. It's encrypted using a passphrase only I know, into a string of 128 hexidecimals....

Stupid young people these days try to start forums and use stupid passwords, then "think" they can trust somebody with it.
