Tournament Idea

Hey guys I have some ideas for a tournament. I am going throw them out there midway through this conversation.

I just want to see if you guys have any type of Tournaments in mind. IF so how would they work and what you want out of it!

Like I said just throw out some ideas and I will come in and post mine


If we can all agree on a good one. I will go to an admin and work on getting one in motion with their approval. It prob be awhile though bc I know Light has something planned.

I honestly have no ideas for one right now. The event thing I tried to do kinda went flat when so many members got tied up with RL issues.... sorry about that


But I would expect a tournament after the Contest in February though.

Unfortunately, I'm about like Rinoa. No ideas at all, Fuzzybutt. I can't even really say that I'd participate. I'm not *quite* as blocked from any form of combat as I was... but it's NOT what I would call "fun".

Honestly, when my distraction from the real world is more stressful than my messy house? I'm usually going to choose to bypass the fight as much as possible. And I'm not to the point where I'd let someone else ghostwrite my posts for me just to participate. Too much honor, I guess.

That is why I have more than one idea and was wanting on some responses.

One of my ideas Is a "Battle of the Wits and Obstacle Course Competition".

Each player would have Five rounds in which would be created specifically for them and the other person. The obstacles could vary from how to cross a ocean a certain way, to a simple NPC battle. A majority of it would be a battle of the wits.

The player would be presented with a question or riddle, or an obstacle course with hidden clues...they must solve to get to the next round. They would pm to see if they are right and I would tell them yes or no based upon my plan. If they are...they will rp finding the item and the clue ( which would be told to them upon pming me).

I think it could be fun.

I would only hold the location and clue. They themselves would rp somehow finding the clues based on the information presented.

My "Contest" In February will consist of a Fanfiction contest...As long as you don't do something like that--I'm open to any suggestions you have if there would be enough participation.

I'd definitely participate since I don't have any ideas to help. At least I could help that way, and it does sound fun and challenging

My thing is I am tired of these old fashion tournaments. I really want a mind challenging one and one that is about wits and rp skill.

And nyah Light this more about a mind challenge really.

So guys one thing I want from you is what would want to see out of my idea? Like I want to incorporate something for everyone.

Well, in theory your idea is a good one. In concept however, it would be hard to accomplish. It would take a lot of thought and work to get it done right. Apart from that, I've nothing really to add. If you get something worked out--drop me a PM.

Alright I'll work something up guys. Will take me some time though.
