| Name: Oerba Yun Fang; Goes by FangAge: Real Age: 521; Physical Age: 21Race: HumanGender: FemaleHome World: Oerba, PulseAlignment: Good-Chaotic/Neutral-Chaotic... I'm not sure what to call her.Class: DragoonSubClass: WarriorElements:Mastered: Non-ElementalSecondary: WindTertiary: ElectricityFighting Style: Fang's style right from the get-go is random and used to confuse her opponents. She'll take risks if it will help in the long run. Utilizing her Bladed Lance, Fang has a high reach with her attacks. If nessisary, Fang can break down her lance into three seperate sections: Two that are bladed and one that is, in principal, a metal rod. In battle, Fang is the one doing most of the heavy lifting. Fang's favorite battle strategy is to hit hard... and then hit again.Affinities: Fang's most prominent ability is her immense strength, possessing strength that allows her to destroy a small boulder with her staff. To top it off, Fang is quite agile, though not as much as some of the other characters such as Lightning. She is able to jump extremely high in the air, which is how she executes her Highwind attack. Bad Qualities: Fang's main problem is her stubborness and, though it can be useful, her "never-back-down" attitude. "Act first, Talk later" seems to be her strategy in most encounters, and she easily and freely insults her enemies in a diplomatic encounter. Another problem is, while her is extremely strong, her magic skills could use some use. Her only worthwhile magic is coating her weapons in electricity, water, fire, or ice, and even then it's rather weak. Her lack of ranged attacks, such as guns, also contribute to the small list of setbacks she faces.Personality: Fang has a strong an stubborn personality that coems out in about everything she does. She can be rather reckless and headstrong as a result from these features, however, which also comes out in just about everything she does. However, if people take the time to look past these quirks of her's, they will begin to see the good qualities of her and the... good-ish qualities of her. For instance, Fang is immensly protective of her family and her friends - in that order, of course - which can be a little annoying to some of the people under her protection. However, her intentions are good and while she may not know when to back down, she eventually will if enough hints are dropped. Fang's most prominent trait is her fearlessness and refusal to back down from a fight, no matter how strong the opponent. This can also prove to annoy her companions but it's the one thing that she'll never change about herself.
While she would never admit it to anybody, Fang faces quite a few insecurities in her life, the largest one being her unconcious fear of betrayal. When Fang trusts somebody she sees them as a good friend and fears that they would leave. She has a deep-settled fear of weakness, mainly because she doesn't want to watch her friends get hurt. Thus, she became strong so that she could protect the ones close to her. At night, Fang is haunted by nightmares of her friends being taken from her.Appearance: Fang is a fairly tall woman with an athletic build to her. She has hazel-colored skin and bright emerald eyes with a beauty mark under her right one. Her hair is long and dark brown. Mixed in with the dark brown are a few strands of mahogany, light brown, and black hair. On her left shoulder Fang has a large tattoo symbolizing her Eidolon, Bahamut, and on her left shoulder Fang has a white Pulse l'Cie brand that looks warped and scorched with two long scars around it.
Fang wears a long royal blue silk sari-like drape that tightens around her hips like a short skirt. Under that she wears black skin-tight shorts and a black skin-tight no-sleeved shirt that reveals her naval and lower back, with strings in the back like a corset. On her feet she wears brown boots that cut off at her toes and heels. Around her waist she wears a tan belt with a hoop in the back for holding her bladed lance. On her forearms she wears black sleeves and over them she wears several bangles. Fang also wears a beaded necklace and a charm necklace around her neck and purple fang-shaped earrings.History: Fang was born on Gran Pulse, in the city of Oerba. Growing up she was trained in the arts of fighting with a lance and spear, as were the teachings of her clan. When she was 12 she met Oerba Dia Vanille and the two became close friends, developing battle strategies that allowed them to take down powerful foes.
When Fang was 20 she volenteered to become a Pulse l'Cie to help fight in the war against Cocoon. After she became a l'Cie she traveled with her partner, Vanille, to get stronger and complete their focus. After 1 year Fang completed her first focus, becoming Ragnarok and attacking Cocoon. As that was Vanille's focus as well, the two turned into a crystal.
500 years later Fang and Vanille awoke from crystal stasis with a new focus - Destroy Orphan, though they didn't know it at the time. Fang's memory of their focus had been lost when the woke up. For 5 days they wandered Cocoon trying to figure out what their focus was, and on the 5th day they got seperated at the Euride Gorge after attacking it to 'kick-start their memories', as Fang put it. After shoving Vanille into an elevator so she could escape, Fang stayed behind to fend off any soldiers that were chasing them. After defeating the soldiers Fang was found by cavalry and temporarily joined them because their commander, Cid Raines, said that he would help her.
Days later Fang captured Snow Villiers, who was trying to rescue his fiance from crystal stasis. After capturing him and hearing his story, Fang and Snow leave with Cavalry to try and 'hunt', as Fang put it, the other l'Cie. They met them in Palumpolum and after being briefly separated they met up again at Hope Esthiem's house. When the house was attacked, though, they fled Palumpolum through Cavalry.
After being rescued from Palumpolum Fang and her companions infiltrated the Palamecia to rescue Oerba Dia Vanille and Sazh Katzroy. After the rescue, they began their escape from the ship, only to be led into a trap by the Primarch. The Primach revealed their focus to them, and then revealed himself to be the fal'Cie, Barthandelus. They managed to escape, though, with an airship and found themselves on the Fifth Ark.
In the Ark the group decides to abandon their focus... the group minus Fang. Saying she doesn't want to see her friends turn into Cie'th, Fang briefly turned on the party before unintentionally summoning her Eidolon, Bahamut. After battling the Eidolon Fang rejoined the group and they returned their trek through the Ark.
At the end of the Ark the group found a Pulsian ship. They flew it through a portal and out onto Gran Pulse itself. On Gran Pulse the group decided to travel to Oerba, Fang and Vanille's hometown. On the way there Fang's memories about her Focus returned to her and she confronted Vanille about it. Upon discovering the truth from Vanille Fang became angry at her companion, but soon calmed down. The group then resumes their travel to Oerba.
Upon reaching Oerba they discovered that it had been abandoned and dilapidated, inhabited now by Cie'th only. Nevertheless, they went into Oerba only to find the fal'Cie Barthandelus was there as well. The group engaged Barthandelus, and after the fight the fal'Cie left on an airship. After he left the group traveled to Eden.
The group reached Eden and managed to make it to Orphan's Cradle. Inside, they found the fal'Cie Barthandelus there. The group managed to defeat him, however after the battle Orphan rose from its pool and began torturing Vanille to make her turn into Ragnarok. Upon seeing her friend get tortured, Fang told Orphan to leave Vanille alone and that she would turn into Ragnarok instead.
After saying this to Orphan, Fang turned on the rest of the party. After being held back by Snow and Sazh, however, she forcefully turned into an incomplete form of Ragnarok. This caused the rest of the group, minus Vanille, to turn into Cie'th. Fang then attacks Orphan, but fails and reverts back to her human form. After the group, as Cie'th, attack her she manages to turn into Ragnarok once more. And once again, she fails to destroy Orphan, however she manages to crack its shell. After turning back into a human AGAIN Orphan starts torturing her to force her into becoming the complete form of Ragnarok.
Suddenly, the rest of the group turn back into humans. They save Fang and the group attacks and defeats Orphan. In the wake of Orphan's destruction, Fang and Vanille sacrifice themselves to save Cocoon. Together they become Ragnarok and create a huge pillar of lava from Cocoon to Pulse. They then used the crystal dust from Oerba and turned Cocoon to crystal, transporting the people on Cocoon to Pulse. They then turned into crystal inside a huge crystal cavern deep within Cocoon.
After being crystalized for several years, Fang finally woke up inside a large crystalized cavern in Cocoon.Weak from her transformation into Ragnarok, Fang awoke to find out that her younger 'sister' was still in crystal stasis. She stayed in the cavern for weeks, waiting for Vanille to wake up, until finally she was forced to leave the cavern or risk death. Fang wandered Cocoon for several days until she collapsed from hunger and exaustion, the world around her going black.
Fang woke up outside the cavern next to a large lake. Unsure of how she got there, she immediately quenched her thirst for water and began wandering around the place she had woken up in. Using her bladed lance, which had been brought to her through some unknown power, Fang hunted Gorgonospids for food. After 3 days she found herself at a town that, ironicly, was the one where her old friend, Snow, and his wife, Serah, were living.
Fang stayed in the town for 1 week. During that time she made sure to stay away from her old companions. Unsure of how she got down on Pulse, Fang didn't want to worry her friends at the thought that some unknwon force might be rising. She exited the town in the dead of night with only her bladed staff and a waterskin.
While traveling Fang caught wind of the new Lady Light, which was her old friend - if she could be called that - Lightning Farron. Intrigued by this news, Fang began her travel to Ivalice to discover if this were true or not, and why Lightning left Cocoon. Boarding a cargo ship, Fang left Cocoon and headed for Ivalice.Pictures: - Spoiler:

| Although everything looks good, I have to uphold the fact that anything copied from wiki is not permitted. It's not that we're sticklers or anything, but for the sake of effort that we ask that everyone write out the sections using their own words. So I ask that you write the personality and appearance in your own words, and just summarize her history from the game as best you can ^^ Sorry for any inconvenience, but we ask this from everyone. | |

| Sorry for double-post, but finished. I just realized how much the history looks like a summary from the game, and I'm sorry about that but I couldn't write it without making it seem like that. :X | |
