Have you noticed that most of the users on this forum have canon characters?

The only non-canon users are Nokuti and Caroutaro

Yes, it's very obnoxious when you take the time to write up a history for a character only to find out his real story isn't the story they want.

Personally being a Canon character is a double edged sword. On one half you get to be someone people already know is kick *bleep* and also you get their really powerful spells, weapons, forms, and summons. Just you are constrained to being just like the Canon character hence why I pick those that I know I can be like without much trouble.
