Dementia's Desdemona and Nebula

Effect: Desdemona allows Dementia to cast a variety of demonic spells under the dark arts. It is one of her primary weapons but Dementia is known to be one of the best swordsmen. She is, however, able to cast spells without the use of the book due to her memorizing the spells.

Range: A long-range weapon

Appearance: A black hard cover book with silver markings on it. It has two metal locks on it, which Dementia opens by pricking her finger and drops a droplet of blood on the books cover. There is a silver metal circle on the books cover and in the middle of the circle does the droplet of blood hit in order to open the book.

History: Dementia came across Desdemona in her fathers’ library. Desdemona *meaning Of the Devil* intrigued Dementia and she spent most of her time in it. She quickly became familiar with each spell and began to use them regularly so she could get better.

Name: Nebula

Type: Sword

Element: Dark

Effect: Nebula just has a poisonous tip that when it cuts someone the poison burns the flesh it hits for two posts.

Range: Short-range

Appearance: The handle of Nebula is black and has a good grip. The hand guard is very decorated and goes down, facing the blade, taking on the look of a cobras’ fangs. The top of the blade is decorated in that it comes out in many points then goes down into the tip. On the blade there is a design that was crafted onto the sword when Dementia gave it its poisonous tip.

History: Nebula is a sword found in her fathers’ study. She used her book Desdemona to taint the blade of the sword and gave it a poisonous tip. Dementia practiced daily with her sword and soon became quite the swordsmen in her town. She used it to help kill the people in her town but she mostly used her spells for that.

Without the first weapon is she able to cast spells?

How does poison double the damage? I understand adding the burn effect but I don't get how it does double the physical damage itself.

Thats all i meant was added burn i didnt mean physical added attention. and yes she is able to cast spells without the book should I add these in?

The spell thing with the book yes.

Oh just say it causes the cut to burn, because saying the double damage is kind of misleading.
