| Note: I am uncertain of how best to present this so, again, I am staying as close to Canon as I am able. When I learn how things are best done, then I will be able to make later Dresspheres more original. Name: Songstress Dressphere AP Cost: 10 AP for initial transformation Requirements: A Garment Grid with the Dressphere inserted into one of the sockets. Activation of the Dressphere through the Garment Grid. Description: Yuna is enveloped by swirling energy that transforms her clothing around her body to the lace skirt and the ruffled top of the Songstress. She reaches up and grasps her microphone from above her where the Garment Grid has transformed into her weapon of choice. Once the transformation is done she poses slightly before getting down to business. Good qualities: High magical ability related to inflicting Status Effects or providing Status Benefits to allies. She has two types of Abilities: Dances and Songs. She can only use one, Song or Dance, at any one time and she cannot do anything else until that action is completed. Note: Some Dances have been removed for concerns about moddiness. They are MP Mambo (no MP cost), Carnival Cancan (double HP), and Brakedance (casts Stop). Magical Masque and Dirty Dancing have been altered in effect. Dance: Lasts for 5 posts, hers or anyone else's, and the effect disappears when the dance ends. Sing: Lasts for 3 posts, hers or anyone else's, and the effect fades after 5 posts. Each song provides a 10% bonus to a different Stat.Phase One (Unlocked on transformation)Darkness Dance (Dance) – Casts Blind on opponents Battle Cry (Song) – Bonus to Strength for allies Esoteric Melody (Song) – Bonus for Magic for allies Phase Two (Unlocked with an additional 10 AP on transformation. Also unlocks Phase One.)Sleepy Shuffle (Dance) – Casts Sleep on opponents Slow Dance (Dance) – Casts Slow on opponents Cantus Firmus (Song) – Bonus for Defense for allies Disenchant (Song) – Bonus for Magic Defense for allies Phase Three (Unlocked with an additional 20 AP on transformation (Also unlocks Phases One and Two.)Magical Masque (Dance) – Resistance to Magical attacks for allies (20%) Dirty Dancing (Dance) – Increases damage for allies(20%) Perfect Pitch (Song) – Bonus for Accuracy for allies Matador's Song (Song) – Bonus for Evasion for allies Phase Four (Unlocked with an additional 40 AP on transformation (Also unlocks Phases One, Two, and Three)Samba of Silence (Dance) – Casts Silence on opponents Jitterbug (Dance) – Casts Haste on allies Bad qualities: Abysmally low physical attack capability (relatively speaking) combined with an inability to do anything else when singing or dancing, so she is pretty well required to have an ally or some form of backup when using this Dressphere for anything other than social reasons.

| *blink*
okays, the effects of Dance last 5 posts, the effects of Sing last for 3, but I'm safely assuming to "cast" any one of them only takes 1 post?
Naturally AP will be required, but even the 40 you have wouldn't cover everything. Maybe select the ones you would like to use to start with? Then as your AP grows, that would unlock more selected ones?
Or
Place AP amounts for each one that way you have access to use any of them depending on the fight situation that you are in?

| Actually, the casting process *is* the 5 posts or the 3 posts. She has to sing or dance the entire duration.
That's the way it worked in game, at least. You started one of the actions and it kept her busy while it was in effect.
And she can only use one at a time, anyway.

| Sorry, didn't remember the game play. It's been quite awhile since I've played it, but that works too.
Still need to figure out what you want to do about the AP cost, though

| I honestly have no idea what to do about the AP cost.
Lemme see which abilities were dependent on each other for unlocking.
*sigh*
Jitterbug was dependent on Slow Dance . . . All the Songs were learnable at start . . .
The Dressphere started with Darkness Dance unlocked . . .
So if it goes in phases on the dances . . .
Darkness Dance to start Samba of Silence and Magical Masque for next Sleepy Shuffle and Slow Dance And then Jitterbug and Dirty Dancing.
And then it would be a matter of figuring out what kind of a cost I'd be looking at.
Edit: rearranged the progression after advice from Rinoa. Silence *is* about as big a deal as Haste, I guess. I'm just guessing here, really. I'm not sure what to do about valuing the Songs, though.
Edit2: Okay, arranged the Songs in sets of two to unlock alongside the Dances. I'm still guessing, though.

| Personally, I like how you seperated what stats and spells to the Songs and Dance Phases to be unlocked. I think that looks very fair.
I see that you added the additional AP to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Phases. So those listed in Phase one, (1 Song *Blind*, 2 Dances *Magic and Physical increases*) are those starting out at 10AP each?

| Actually, you've got them reversed. Blind, the status affliction, is the Dance, which is why it takes the longer duration of "keeping busy". The Magic and Strength increases are Songs, like temp buffs. Interestingly enough, in game I tended to use the Songs more than any of the dances other than Jitterbug.
and I'm not sure what kind of AP cost it's going to take to transform in the beginning, given that she's all but useless for Melee and she *has* to work with a partner of some sort if she's not using it for purely social reasons. (Like there's a party or something and she's performing or it's a non-combat thread and she just wants to show off.)
Usually characters have a melee option that allows some action during a fight without using AP and this particular Dressphere really doesn't. The Dances and the Songs are pretty much ALL she can do. And she can only use one of them, either of them, at a time.
But I can put the base transformation at 10 AP, which would make the phases total up to 10, 20, 30, and 50 AP, with the 50 unlocking everything. I'd probably use 10 AP as a baseline for all the Dresspheres, then.
Would that be acceptable?

| My apologies. With as much information there is to this form, I got the Phase 1 Dance and Song effects reversed.
I could only assume/quess the base AP amount since one was't listed for Phase 1. Now if this is so, at your current AP, you have Phases 1, 2, and 3 open to you to use. Since I know and value your history in RP, I know you would not abuse this ^^
The 10AP base amount seems fine to me. Just edit that in. Now unless another of higher authority sees something I have missed, I deem you Approve-ed
I have also brought your other two forms to the attention of an Admin to get you a speedy approval.

| It is edited in. As for the mix-up, it's okay. It happens.
Thank you.
