Enchanted: to be fair, I honestly don't know. But Steel Deer came to the rescue and said this:

Sudden Impact: Increases Strength by 20%

Protection: The cloth parts are a dense, strong silk, capable of resisting arrows. The main body armor is formed of the exoskeletons of Scorpions. These shells are as strong as steel, but no heavier than wood. Beeing so strong, it very handily resists most physical damage, the only real weakness beeing crushing damage.

History: well I have had this basic fighter's gear for so long now I can barely remember what items I got first but I'll try. I know I got all of my gear from fighting monsters in Vana'Diel and i *think* I first got either the Chiv. Chain, or some of my AF gear. Then as I got more levels under my belt, I finally even got a belt to have things under lol. That was obtained after several weeks of camping a Morlborger wich was a right pain, cause it seemed like God and all his family also did that at the same time, and it was on a either 24 or 32 hour pop >_< As for my harness, I caved in and bought it from a crafter instead of fighting for it and it cost me a heck of alot of money. Then I got the rest of my AF gear, and since it what works best in general for me, it's what I'm wearing most of the time.
