Quick Draw~ This allows Kiyuki to instantly draw out his blade at 25% boosted speed. He can instantly slash at someone with this ability as an extension of quick draw. However it must be in its sheath in order for quick draw to work.
Sonic Sheath~ Allows Kiyuki to sheath his blade must more quickly. It has no real draw back as its combat use is unethical anyways.

History: It came with the Strike Armor.

Picture: his weapon is strangely designed. It is extremely light weight despite its size. The hilt alone, is about 12.6 inches(32 Cm) long. The blade, however, is another 40.1 inches(101.9 cm). This makes the sword as a whole, a little shorter than Kiyuki, who is about 68.0 inches (172.7 Cm) tall. It is also 2 inches (5.1cm) wide (edge to flat side).

The side, near the hilt, has 2 magic gems that are designed specifically for one thing. That is quick draw and sonic sheathing of the Nodachi. It being lightweight, allows for quick slashes, which give the sword a striking sound, giving the nodachi it's name.

Due to its size, however, it is too large for Kiyuki to carry on his back or on his side. So he has to carry it inside its sheath, by hand, making it a little more difficult to wield. However the use of it is mainly that of draw, cut, sheath, which due to the speed of doing so, allows the wielder to attack almost faster than the eye can see.

This is where your choice of words makes thing tricky, Fenik.

No. Not when paying for haste itself only gives 50% more speed. That's nowhere near the speed of light. Please fix-eth ^^

Whatever do you mean by unethical use? And is the sheathing ability going to be the same speed as Quick Draw?

Well... it was speed of lightning... and it was also for the draw speed only.

Yeah, the sheathing would be just as fast.

If you want that amount od speed for this weapon, it has to be a "Spell" for this weapon.

If you want it for free, then 10% faster is all it can be for free.

Its only for unsheathing the sword. It isn't a standing bonus... ><

Therefore you ARE using the speed to slash at someone

Yeah... ONE slash right out the sheath... that is like saying I get the bonus of swinging my leg really fast at the beginning of the match, and as a bonus I could kick someone while doing so. ._.;;

You're not getting a 50% boost of speed for free.

For anything.

If you want to, bring it up to Kuja and see if he'll allow it then.

Alright now, since you're ONLY using this speed effect to unsheathe and strike once, ((where Haste is 50% for 3 posts)) I'll allow the 25% for this. Do not abuse this post after post after post, or I'll have this edited with a BIG cool-down duration. >>
