That one totally OOC Fight between those two dudes! (Raven)

Kiyuki leaned up on a wall in the Arena of the tournament grounds. He waited for his opponent who was apparently a gun-specialist. Having challenged him for some reason or the other, Kiyuki was rather at a point where the only thing to do was accept. It wasn't much like he had anything else he could do, why not? Of course, this battle was nothing to sneeze at. He wore his Strike Armor, he had his whole arsenal here and ready, the Nodachi was his primarily held weapon. He watched everywhere for any signs of the gunner, he hadn't a clue what type he was, nor what guns he had on him.

Emile got the message about him being challenged in the tournament's arena. He immediatly set out in a cruiser to go to the arena. He scanned the arena from outside of the atmosphere and watched his challenger. The man was obviously a spell caster of some sorts and wore armor. Emile decided he was going to make an entrance. He walked down the corridors and entered one of the drop pods that the HALO troopers used to drop from orbit. He climbed in and checked all his gear. He made sure his materia level was stable and he had plenty of ammunition. He wasn't expecting much of a fight, but he would rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

He pressed the release button and was shot out of the cruiser and fired towards the dome of the arena. The pod shook as it entered the atmosphere and he could see the flames wrap around the small one-seated craft. The pod shuttered as it impacted the dome of the arena. It broke through and went hurtling to the center of the arena. The dome broke open and crumbled down with the pod, leaving the arena roof open. Emile pushed the realease button on the pod door and it went flying across the field. He stepped out of the pod and brought his M-15 up to aim at his challenger.

With a little disturbance at the entry method, Kiyuki quickly examined the gun the opponent was holding. It was an assault rifle, small clip, and probably low range. A scope mod was attached at the top, with a grenade launcher at the bottom, ready for combat. Kiyuki shook his head and positioned his Nodachi for combat, sheathed, but held at his side by hand. He smirked and quickly nipped some flesh from the tip of his finger, before scribbling down a pretty decent-looking drawing of a lion on the wall next to him near-instantly, having not moved yet. He smiled, and also made sure he would have a field advantage. It was an open area, so he would have to keep moving and make sure he was in good range to fight with magic.

With that observation within the instant the man pointed his gun, Kiyuki had prepared for the match at hand. He motioned his free hand to be in front of himself, and caused a glyph to appear where Raven stood, brick red in color, wouldn't be too noticeable with the dust from where Raven landed veiling the ground, though it would follow him if he moved. The glyph stood a moment, before a giant rock came crashing down from above.

Emile stood there for a moment staring at his target. He wondered what he was doing. The man did nothing but hurt himself, that couldn't possibly be- and then it clicked. He was casting a spell! Emile looked all around and spotted the rock coming down at him. He snapped his rifle up at the rock and fired a grenade from his under-mounted grenade launcher. The grenade flew up and struck the rock and exploded.

The rock burst in a cloud of harmless pebbles and the cloud settled on Raven. The deep dust made it impossible for him to see his target, but that also meant his target couldn't see him. He slid for a nearby piece of debris and got behind it for cover. He waited for the dust to settle to make his next move.

Kiyuki yawned just a bit at the fact that the man wasted a perfectly good grenade on a large rock. His eyes remained alert, however the dust was blocking the visual range he needed. Fortunately enough though, no more shots were fired. Still having not moved from his spot, he drew another picture before the dust settled, this one, of a Tortoise on the wall. He made a light handseal, before the lion on the wall ripped from its surface, and became animated, and locked onto the magic signature Kiyuki's opponent's armor gave off. It then shot at the man, aiming to smash into him and deal some lower moderate magical damage to him as well as cover him in ink, it would be powerful enough to injure the man, between tier one and tier two damage, but exactly in between, not leaning towards either one. This would be a simple task, as it chased the magic signature, and not the vision, while also being blocked from vision by the dust.

Raven waited a few moments behind the debris. He was trying to catch his breath and descipher a resmblance of a plan. He was just about to move when, well, you know that saying: "The best laid plans never survive first contact with the enemy"? That happened. He was coming out of cover when out from the dust comes a lion that looked like it was ripped off a pre-schooler's drawing assignment. As the thing barreled towards him, he side stepped back behind cover, letting the lion run right past him and narrowly escaping injury.

The lion disapeared into the dust again and Emile thought it was safe, but a second later the lion came rolling out of the dust again. Emile barely had enough time to slide out of the way and see the lion smash into the cover he was just behind. The lion exploded in a wash of ink that, thankfully, didn't get on his nice clean armor.

Emile was angry now and loaded another grenade into his gun. He ran in the direction that the spell caster was in and emerged out of the dust cloud to see the man standing there next to another painting. Emile lobbed the grenade in his gun at the picture. The grenade hit and exploded, destroying the wall and probaly catching the pictomancer in the blast.

Good, the man was distracted for a good bit with his other drawing that would easily take a second to draw another, anywhere. Kiyuki sprinted away from the blast, with boosted speed from his armor. He shifted his hand that held the sheathed nodachi to his dominant hand to allow use of his secondary. He sprinted into the dust again, and used the veil as cover while he got closer, silently moving like a ghost, his shadow couldn't keep up, leaving a false silhouette of him 3 feet behind his path. Just as he gained optimal range, he created an instantaneous series of three magical explosions right within range of his opponent each one would explode by him no matter which way he moved from the previous.

The gunner was toast if Kiyuki managed decent range, though Kiyuki was far quicker on his feet than the heavily clad man. He wasn't going to underestimate the maneuvers of this well-trained gunner, or the speed of a bullet. He was going to take his time and figure it out. He shifted his grip back to his normal stance, and shot right behind the gunner and drew his sword at a rapid speed, swinging with the motion and would try to use that momentum to cut his heavily clad opponent. With that he would fall back into the dust to attack from a different angle.

Emile chased the man into the dust, but quickly lost track of him. He spun in circles, trying to discern the man's location, but all he could see were ghosts and shadows. He needed to keep moving. He took a step back towards the direction of his pod and there was a blast of energy in front of him. It blew him backwards, but instead of flying across the arena, he was propelled forward again by another blast of energy. Just when he hit the ground, another blast sent him flying again. He landed just steps away from his pod.

"Crazy, freaky spellcasters always making my life hell.", he murmored to himself as he tried to stand back up.

By now the dust was starting to settle. Emile dragged himself to his feet and started walking towards the pod. He was on full-alert now. He was bent over the cock-pit of the pod to grab more grenades, when he heard the faint sound of a rock moving behind him. He was already moving when he heard the sword being drawn. He rolled with the swing of the sword so that his armor took nothing more than a faint scratch on the surface of it. While dodging, he spun around to face his attacker and grabbed him by the his sword arm with his free hand and delivered a powerful blow with the gun in his other hand to the swordsman's elbow. The blow from the powersuit would be more than enough to make the man drop his sword, if not break his arm all together.

He watched as the man then slip away into the now almost completly faded dust to lick his wound. Emile himself needed to recuporate after the energy blasts. He pulled out a blue materia core and pushed it into his chest. He flickered in and out of view before completly disapearing just as the dust settled.

Kiyuki was caught a little off guard at the man's sudden counterattack. He blade was removed from his grip, but his arm slipped free, and he backed off watching the gunner slip into the veil of dust, and even his shadow disappeared. This was getting rather old. He took a knee by the pod to use as cover, before he scribbled down another lion on the pod's metal surface, then he used his magic to instantly send it to attack the man, that couldn't even use camouflage to mask his armor's magic presence. He used that as more of a distraction, so that he could create a more messy attack. He unsheathed his other sword, the Spell Sword.

He smiled and stabbed it into the ground, as a giant magical glyph encompassed a large area of the arena, with the dust blocking off the light from view. By the time Raven would notice this attack in progress he'd already be impaled with five ethereal blades, or so Kiyuki strategized, since he would be too distracted with another lion to properly escape the glyph. As Kiyuki did this, he walked over and re-claimed his nodachi, quickly sheathing it and returning to the Spell Sword to retrieve it when this spell was finished.

Emile rolled his eyes when he saw the man drawing again. This guy did not know how to give up. Emile decided to end this now. This was getting too darn annoying for him. He got on the radio that he got out of the pod and called for his ship. While the Kristallnacht came down from the ship above, Emile loaded another grenade into his gun.

He looked up to see another lion charging towards him and the pictomancer bringing his sword up in the air to strike the ground with it. He brought the gun up to aim and launched a grenade, not at the lion, but at the pictomancer. The grenade soared over the head of the lion and struck the ground at the man's feet, just as he was sinking his sword into the ground.

Thats when he realized that the lion WAS actually coming for him, even though he was invisible! He was tired of these stupid drawings, so he turned and ran for the nearest rock, cause that seemed to work the last time. Just as he was almost to the rock, the kristallnacht flew down from the hole in the ceiling. Emile jumped onto the rock he was running for and then leaped ffrom the rock into the back-compartment of the bird. The bird took off away from the rock as the lion jumped to try and strike it. The lion fell and splattered in a pool of ink from the fall.

Emile took the flight controlls from the pilot and got on the loud speaker.

"This is your last chance! Give up!"

The glyph took form rather quickly, due to the adrenaline of the battle. As the grenade was fired, the ethereal swords, shot up from the area of the glyph, missing Kiyuki and his lion greatly. The grenade was caught mid-flight and blew up an ethereal sword. Raven would have no time to escape and therefore his whole imagination of running and jumping up to the airship was rendered invalid.

The grenade was close enough to injure him, and was sent rolling, taking a bit of a burn to his side, though it was protected by the armor. He got up and growled a bit before examining the situation further, the attack intercepting the gunner's attempt to distract him while he jumped on the airship.

Emile, watched as the pictomancer refused to listen. It didn't matter to him, either way this fight was over. He flew out side of the arena and began to fly around it, firing the chopper's entire payload. The missile's crashed into the building and the crew mambers fried the grenade launchers at the support beams. The arena began to shak and quake from the immense amount of fire-power coming at it. The building cracked and finally collapsed, burrying the pictomancer alive. Emile turned the airship around and flew off into the sunset.
