I just wanted to know if the 1000posts were 100% compulsory?
Like, is there to be exceptions to that particular rule?

Such has Canon Characters that Dual-Wield.
Or, the more 'advanced' RPers such as yourself and Sephiroth, for example.

It's just, I thought it would be much more important to have RP skills than a lot of posts.

Canons that dual wield are aloud to dual wield. And this is usually done on a case to case basis. So its a judgement call depending on the skills of the person.


Now you brought up my name and I believe that since I have a canon character that doesn't dual wield that I shouldn't. So you will never see me dual wield with Sephiroth.

Well, I HAVE to dual weild if I want to fight a normal battle. One of my weapons are atached to Kaze's arm, so if he uses the other weapon he will be dualweilding.

Sephiroth, I was just using you as an example of a great RPer, I wasn't really suggesting your character should Dual-Wield.
'cause I think your right, Sephiroth doesn't dual wield in the game or film so it makes no sense to here...

And Kaze, by what Seph said, you can Dual-Wield because you're a Canon Character that does.

Well thats the point Kaze. Dual wielding is reserved for those that have proved they have the skill to role play well with one weapon. And if someone does have that thousand posts, but they don't show the aptitude, then they won't be allowed to dual wield. Thats how it works. Thats why a high post count.

However dual-wielding isn't THAT big a benefit

First of all to answer your question Hunter--YES it is. A lot pf posts has EVERYTHING to do with it. I don't care if you can RP a grapefruit through a camel's ass or not, but if you have achieved 1000 posts, it means you've been here awhile--and been dedicated to the site. I don't want someone to just join up, be an outstanding RPer and get the best stuff, then leave us high and dry. It's kind of like giving away your favorite care to someone you just met because they looked nice, then they steal it. And maybe it doesn't benefit you Caroutaro, but for me--it means how quickly my opponent will die. I can fight better with 4 swords than I can with one, maybe you'll get to see one day. And for Sephiroth, I don't care if you want to dual-wield, you shouldn't be an exact 100% replica of the Sephiroth from the games/movie. It makes it more unique when you put your own small twists into your character. Not to say I want someone to completely revamp the character, but you catch my drift. Any other questions?

P.S. No I didn't forget to announcify, its just I was using a custom theme of Windows called Mechanoid, and for some reason it was a little incompatible with my browser, so it had disabled the option to let me check the ANNOUNCE bullet. So could you do that for me Sephiroth? NOTICE it?
