Final Fantasy :: Requiem Of Shadows

Music is but a thought--a voice that cannot speak, yet refuses to remain silent. This is Final Fantasy. Can you hear it? It comes from the Shadows--A Requiem.

Scrap armor Empty
PostSubject: Scrap armor   Scrap armor EmptyOctober 21st 2010, 12:10 am

Name: Scrap armor

World: Midgar

Enchanted: none

Protection: It protects Kiema from some bullets and a bit of slashing damage with no blunt or magical protection.

History: This armor piece was originally junk just laying around. Kiema found the junk and thought it would be useful. So he started outlining the metal in armor shapes. He spent days looking for junk that wasn't extremely rusted. He continued looking for pieces if metal. He devised a armor plan to where he would use a strap to keep the armor strapped to his shoulder. He spent more time looking for more metal and leather. Soon he had enough metal and he welded the metal together then when it cooled he attached it the piece and his armor was finished.

Picture: The armor is a shoulder piece made of scrap metal giving it a rusted look. The metal used ranges from rusted metal to rusted vehicle metal. There is leather strap on it for which he uses it to hold the shoulder piece on his body.

Okay . . . how *much* protection are you afforded? I know you say "some bullets" and "a bit of slashing damage", so that's piercing and slashing damage types, but nothing against blunt/crushing?

Also, you do know that you're allowed abilities on Armor? So far as I'm aware, and someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but you get two abilities and you can only have one set of armor, but it can be upgraded on a set schedule. If you don't use your two initial abilities, then you can't use them later on an upgrade and each upgrade only allows for one ability, but it requires a downside.

The initial two abilities don't require weaknesses, so it's usually in your best interest to use them.

It's up to you, though, just trying to look out for you.

Okay, I'll stick with the no abilities thing and edited the protection a bit.

Fair enough, I suppose. It's your choice, I just didn't want you to go without something that you deserved to have because you didn't know about it.

Thanks Yuna. May I ask a question?

What's the question? If you want you can PM questions to any member of the Staff or ask us in the Chatbox at the bottom of the Index page.

We're always willing to answer questions.

When do I begin role playing? Is it after I get my character's weapon and armor approved?

Actually, you can join or start an RP from the moment you have your character approved. You just need the other stuff if you plan on getting into fights, which is purely your choice . . . well, most of the time.

If you don't want to fight, then stick to threads tagged as No Fighting, but it's your choice.

But you're clear for RP from the moment your character is approved.

That help?
