First Of The Year Announcement

First of all I want to say thanks everyone for having to deal with my stubborness and modifications to the various areas on the site. I have only a handful of things left to actually modify, and then I have 3 things to work on for the update in February. If you've noticed, on the Announcements SCROLLING at the top of the Index page, it is scheduled for Feb 8th currently if things go according to plan. What to expect?

-The Points System Will Change.
-The LEVELS Will NOT Change.
-Post Count Will Be Irrelevant As TWO Different Points Systems Will be In Effect. One as a MONEY system and one as a type of POST COUNT system.
-A Valentine's Contest will be announced as the grand opening of the LIGHT STORE with an undetermined amount of MONEY points being awarded to the winner.
-I also plan, in the near future, to upgrade the site to have a customized DOMAIN name.

NOTE: That some of the preceeding are subject to change between now and Feb 8th.

As for myself, I hope to be on as usual EVERYDAY, but I do begin my last semester of College TOMORROW (Tuesday). I have spread out my schedule of classes enough to be able to have a couple of hours of free time in the library everyday on my laptop, maybe this will allow me MORE access to the site than normal anyways. Who knows right? So if by chance, I do not Reply to a PM, or whatever--GO TO RINOA first, if not her than to YUNA.

NO I AM NOT LEAVING. I WILL BE ONLINE MOST EVERYDAY, BUT MY TIME MAY OR MAY NOT BE LIMITED DUE TO SCHOOL SO DO NOT FREAK OUT.

UPDATE:

-Yes I realize the URL of the site has changed for some unknown reason and I'm still looking into it. I've just been slow during the week because Yes I am still a college student currently. Please be patient.

-If you encounter a problem where you must have so many POINTS to be eligible for something---you will notice the points are different now. They are still being worked on, but because of school, I only have time on the weekends usually, or REALLY late at night. So if you have a need, send me a PM and I'll let you know what you need to know until I have the new system all set up.

I thought I'd mention, firstly, although it's fixed now, the URL change was due to an error with Forumotion's GoDaddy servers, where they lost access to darkbb.com temporarily, and had to change it to darkbb.info.

As for the points system, I run a Forumotion RP myself, and I wasn't aware that you were able to implement more than one points system, or have you got something different lined up for the Gil?

You can have more than one points system, but I'm still working on if I'm going to use two or not--I'm kind of riding the fence right now.

Alright guys, I've pretty much got everything worked out to the way its going to be for now--at least for a long while. I decided against the money system/gil for now--I have written it up, but I will wait until we have more active members on the site to implement it. The points system has been slightly revamped, but the all of the points per spell/summon/AP etc has also changed to reflect the new Xperience system.

The valentine's contest I had in mind, as a result of the gil/money system I had planned to open it up with will also be put in a box for now at least. If you have an idea or want something done for valentine's day such as a tournament, a big party--send me a PM; otherwise, on Sunday I will more than likely post a big banquet party topic in the city of Archades, Ivalice.

About the custom domain thing--it's coming soon. Not a definite date yet, because I have to pay for it--but maybe by the summer time.
