Protection: Due to the Moganite infused into the material, the Moganite Vest provides additional 20% protection against physical attacks, whether hand to hand combat, or weapon. (Note: this does not include protection against magic effects that may be part of any weapon's attacks. Only the physical damage is less)
History: After the fight with Sephiroth in Nibelheim which left Tifa critically injured her Martial Arts teacher, Zangan, took her To Midgar for medical treatment. As her vest was ruined in the attack, Zangan took it to be repaired on his way to get Tifa her new gloves. It wasn’t to be such an easy task as her vest was deemed to be so far beyond repair that he was left with no other option than to discard it. When he returned to Tifa’s bedside with her new gloves, he also gave her a new vest, made from the very same material as the gloves. Zangan never revealed how he came about the vest or the gloves, only the power they held.
